T.J. DeLaet – LaSalle High School

T.J. has been active in the Student Government here at LaSalle as a member and as a representative over the last few years. He has also been a member of the varsity baseball and bowling teams. He has participated as a member of the LaSalle Key Club and Corn Hole Club as well. T.J. has been actively involved in the Coat and Can Food Drive and the March for Life held here at school.

T.J. has taken time to be a Peer Tutor and a youth baseball coach as well. But T.J.’s strength has been in his leadership qualities as he was a nominee as Student Body President, recipient of Scholar Awards for 1st honors every quarter in all his years here at LaSalle. He also has been awarded the All GCL “2nd team” award for bowling here at LaSalle. He was active in the Service Immersion Trip “Operation Helping Hands” in New Orleans. He also participated in the March for Life in Washington D.C. He was selected as the “Student of the Month” for the N.W. Exchange Club and then selected as our Student of the Year as well, and he set a new high series school record for LaSalle in bowling. He was also awarded Scholastic All-Star for his achievements outside the classroom in baseball and bowling here at LaSalle.
